Our mission is simple - utilise rooftops, open areas and garden spaces into raised beds purposely built for growing foods. We can offer guidance on how to grow food and what is best suited to your specific location.

Our cities are changing. Ever growing urban population, climate change, and the scarcity of natural resources are monumental challenges. With population projections of 10 billion by 2050, crop yields will need to increase by over 60 per cent to meet future food demand. In the coming years, we must ensure that more food is available to feed Earth’s growing population. We need to reduce the pressures that agriculture places on the Earth.

Urban farming promotes local and sustainable food systems. Agriculture in cities is good for the environment, the ecosystem, and the climate. Urban farming brings communities together and it adopts a healthy local population. There are many good reasons for farming in the city.

  • Jai Desai

    FOUNDER

    A background in Interior Design, but for many years felt an urge to explore sustainable projects to help people. Jai believes he can make a difference to the climate emergency and help as many people as possible to access organic food. Together with house builders, BtR & Residential developers and property owners; he is positive we can make our communities healthier and happier.

  • Theresa Webb

    GARDENER / NUTRITIONIST

    Theresa has vast experience in connecting food with health. She also manages a garden in South London for a community group. Understanding the deep connection between us and the planet is very important to Theresa. Providing insight into how our food systems give us life but also work in harmony with nature too. She leads our workshops programme.

  • Marcel Romulus

    INSTALLATIONS

    Marcel has been an experienced gardener for the past 5 years - working on varying projects across Greenwich and Blackheath. Hard-working and meticulous are traits that allows Marcel to take on an array of garden projects. He will be your point of call for anything installation & delivery related.
